Kitchen thoughts

That’s it… I’m committed! I have just put down a hefty deposit for a brand new spanking kitchen!

When we bought our house last year, it was always on the proviso we would renovate the extremly dated kitchen.

Not to be taken lightly, a new kitchen is probably the biggest investment you will ever make to your home, so I’ve been meticulously planning this right from the off!

I knew straight away that I wanted a soft muted colour palette, with white being the dominate colour. Other colours I’m drawn to include pale greens, light peaches and dusky greys. I also love the use of metal and wood accents to help pull things together.

One thing that has became apparent, is my love of the simple subway brick tiles. They seem to appear in each of my pins, so these are a definite for the final decor… The only decision left is whether to go white or a soft muted green?

The following images all sum up the style I am after and is what my final designs have been based on…I can’t wait to share the before and after pictures with you!
